Aza Nizi Maza - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Aza Nizi Maza
Aza Nizi Maza is George Clinton making sweet passionate love to Stravinsky while Pink Floyd jammed out a live score. A full 6 piece band complete with a burning horn section, is funk psychedelic soul complex in rhythms, layers and distortion. Randa Eid (singer) and Brian Abbott(bass) hit the road in 2010 with their new wave rock outfit Grub Animal. After a 30 show tour the band decided to take a hiatus as two members moved to Montreal, Canada. With a deep passion to keep writing and performing Randa approached Brian about collaborating on a new funky soulful project. Singer/writer Randa Eid has been described as Peaches mixed with Bjork. Lead guitarist/composer Brian Abbott a multi-instrumentalist is noisey rock music, avant garde jazz, and pop music, usually with a bent toward the freakier side of life. Drummer, Abbott Segel has a funky original style with hints of groovin' rock, soul, and just a touch of something heavier. Peter Bellomo ( bass/ vocs) hails from a classical opera and rock/funk backgrounds. Hugh Ash (Trumpet) has played with the likes of Coco Rosie. ANM songs are as kaleidoscopic as their style, and lyrics. Randa's songs are a dissection of the uber hip tragedy through crass yet poignant lyrics arching over to more ethereal creations exploring the awe and curiosity of childlike ache.
Ten Ton Man - (Set time: 7:00 PM)
Ten Ton Man
Ten Ton Man is a dark and emotional take from a rootsy perspective. Songwriter Paul Livornese, brings his personal stories to life in his songs, on Ten Ton Man’s Debut album.

On Ten Ton Man's debut album, this trio of Paul Livornese on vocals and guitar, Paul Dugan, on upright and electric bass, and one of the founding members of "Big Lazy", are joined by session drummer Paul Tripp to create a landscape of songs that tell the story of a man who contemplates the life that has been dealt him. Unofficially the "Rocco's Midlife Crisis" saga.

Ten Ton Man is joined by Kelly Pratt on brass, who has played with Beirut and Arcade Fire and Erik Della Penna, Guitarist for Natalie Merchant, who adds lap steel and slide, on this indie, rootsy album.

Influences by Nick Cave and Johnny Cash can be heard throughout.

Frank Persico
Frank Persico is a New York City based Singer/Songwriter.
Julien Funk - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Julien Funk
Julien Funk is building considerable momentum following the release of the ‘Painted Thief’ EP. Their single ‘Look Me Up’ won grand prize in the NYC Rising 2011 contest from among 800+ applicants. Since joining forces in New York from abroad (Canada [x2] with one crazy Italian) the band was off to a fast start by playing their first show during CMJ 2011. Notable New York accomplishments include performances at Webster Hall and Piano’s during the 2011 CMJ festival, shows at Arlene's Grocery, Bitter End, and Rockwood Music Hall and airplay from Q104.3FM tri-state commercial radio.
Marlowe Grey - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Marlowe Grey
Marlowe Grey is the pet project of musicians AJ Pietro and Michael Koslow. AJ, working in the past primarily as a solo artist and Michael, formally of the Indie group Gul, together formed the group in 2005.

Their goal has been to create soundscapes that sit on top of AJ's simple, yet emotionally charged solo work. The songs pay homage to those artist that create with purpose through experience. They convey truth and honesty through words and song with the quest being nothing more.

Band members Angel Lozada and Chris Cartrett accompany the songs with sensitive craftsmanship that is unmistakably fresh and original.

Marlowe Grey released their debut album 'Zoa' in 2007. Their follow up album "The Vanessa Bell", debuts this upcoming winter.
