Agents of Karma - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
Agents of Karma
Agents of Karma was formed by Jay Cavanaugh and Conrad Sparnroft to fill what they saw as a void in the music scene. A. O. K. quickly gained a reputation in New York City for high energy live shows, dynamic musicianship and eclectic non formula song writing. The addition of energetic drummer Patrick (Paddymike) Conlon who along with his acoustic drum kit brought in sampling and additional background vocals, made the current line up complete. Paddy Mike brings a talent for arranging music from a nuts n bolts drummers perspective. Add to that plenty of touring, including trips overseas to europe and hundreds of gigs and recording sessions under his belt! Outside of music Paddymike's other passion can be summed up in 5 words... "Give Blood....Play Ice Hockey". Couple that with Conrad Sparnroft’s arsenal of guitar processors, vast collection of amazing instruments and back ground of study with a who’s who list of great guitarists like: Vinnie Zummo (Joe Jackson Band), John Berenzy, Steve Khan, Bill Connors, Dave Fuiczynski (Screaming headless torsos), Vernon Reid + Hiram Bullock, and you’re off to a flying start. Conrad, a Scuba diving enthusiast also practices the martial art forms of Tai Chi Chaun, Tae Kwon Do, American Kickboxing, Wing Chun + Judo. And finally Jay Cavanaugh on Bass and Lead Vocals brings his art chameleon back ground into the mix to round it all out. Jay's interactions with the arts include: Painting, playing Bass with the 50’s legends The Del Vikings, studying with Robert Fripps League of Crafty Guitarists, Stand up Poetry, Comedic acting in a comedy troupe, appearing in various Play’s and Independent films to doing Voice Over work for Bill Plympton. He's also an ordained Minister of Music in the Church of Spiritual Humanism. An avid organic vegetable grower and alternative health advocate through diet + practice of Kundalini Yoga, Jay spends his down time monitoring politics through on-line platforms like TYT, Huff Post, Crooks + Liars,, Democracy Now + Current TV ! He is also an avid collector cool used basses.
Chris Fury - (Set time: 7:00 PM)
Chris Fury
Chris 'Fury' Fiore is a guitarist, musician, composer, and engineer from Long Island, New York. He was attracted to the infinite nature of music at a young age starting on the viola in elementary school. He found his medium for self-expression, the guitar, in his early teens. Being predominantly self taught, Chris’s early influences included genre defying bands like 311, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as Metallica and various 90’s rock and alternative bands.

A desire to further his musical skills and his interest in technology led him to Binghamton University where he graduated with a dual degree, Bachelors of Arts in Music as well as a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. In school it was jazz and technical players and bands that further influenced Chris. This ultimately brought him to his master teachers Tom Hess, and Greg Howe to make him the guitar player he is today.

Chris’s track “Reborn” was recently featured on a unique compilation album Shrouded in Sound: New Guitar Music For A New Decade with 14 other artists around the world.

Chris is currently writing a solo guitar instrumental album for 2011. He aims to push the creative limits and to create an instrumental experience channeling the music within as honest as possible.

Aside from being a front man with his solo project, he has worked and performed with artists such as Gold Hip Hop Recording Artist Keith Murray, Whyteout, Jerry Robinson, and Jac & Jill. He is also an active session recording guitarist.
notfornothing - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Evan Brum & The Royal High - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Evan Brum & The Royal High
Evan Brum grew up surrounded by the sounds of classic American roots/blues music. He influenced by artists such as Taj Mahal, Albert King, Richie Havens, and The Allman Brothers Band. Over the past few years, Evan and his band The Royal High have forged ahead with an eclectic mix of classic roots based music, combined with a modern rock edge. This rings true in Evan's raspy vocal delivery, which has been described by some as a "Tom Jones, Tom Waites sandwich" Evan compliments his gritty vocal styling with percussive, rhythm based acoustic guitar playing.

As far as the band goes, The Royal High exemplifies solid American roots-rock music. This is well represented throughout the album with Lead guitar player Jon Shriver. From classic bluesy Stones influenced licks, to good old fashioned classic rock shredding, this son of a gun isn't screwing around. The bands newest member who also engineered and co-produced the album is musician Bryan Smith who plays a wide variety of instruments on the album, as well during live performances. Ranging from classic Hammond organ, to space age modern synch, Bryan adds a fresh dynamic to the band. Drummer Matt Zebroski, who performs on the album, holds down the fort with his unique jazz/rock styling. Performing with the band most recently is hard-hitting rock & roll drummer Dave Vincola. Bass duties on the album are credited to New Zealand native, and Julliard graduate Mat Fieldes . Pro bass player Glen Nataupsky, who has accompanied the band on recent live gigs, is equally is a no nonsense force to be reckoned with.
Damascus - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
"Damascus play atmospheric, instrumental music in the vein of Russian Circles, And So I Watch You From Afar, Junius, Constants, Moving Mountains, If These Trees Could Talk, etc. I know that not all of those bands are instrumental, but you get the point; if you dig ‘em, you’ll certainly like the chilled-out yet rockin’ grooves of Damascus." (MetalSucks)

"It shouldn't be possible to make post-rock this good after only a few months as a band, but somehow, Damascus have done it." (SputnikMusic)

"Damascus combines elegance and vulnerability with full-rock out moments..." (AbsolutePunk)
