Small Craft Warning - (Set time: 8:00 PM)
Small Craft Warning
Small Craft Warning is a New York City-based "Dead-style" jam band, but they are not a cover band. They have developed an original repertoire of jam tunes which draw their inspiration from the Grateful Dead - mixed with a dash of their own unique medicine, of course.
The fact is that there are precious few original Dead-style jam bands out there. There are many Dead cover bands, and a whole generation of "groove/electronica" jam bands. BUT, there are few bands that have really pursued the Grateful Dead's twin aims of crafting thoughtful, timeless songs while simultaneously creating in-the-moment, mind-bending improvisational music. Small Craft Warning is the needle in the haystack! They aspire to advance the Grateful Dead's core thread, and their original jam tunes accomplish that in spades.
Lieder - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Lieder
Lieder, an original band based out of northern New Jersey, displays an aggressive style of power pop, steeped in the tradition of American and British Rock & Roll. Originally formed in the spring of 2007, Lieder (which means “songs” in German) was personally given its name by rock legend Pete Townshend of The Who.
Tone - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
Tone
Tone started out in the basement, then ended up in another basement -to only be led into a basement, which only a tone could be created such as this.
Dirty Black 7 - (Set time: 12:00 AM)
