Alli and The Oxen Frees
Alli and The Oxen Frees started as a trio occasionally rehearsing in the small bedroom of Alyssa Kurtzman. Since their humble beginnings they have grown into a sizeable quartet reaching new audiences at every performance. Alli and The Oxen Frees play all over NYC so keep a heads up for our next show!

Stone the King
The world is ripe for rebellion. Enter: Stone the King.

The group culls from a wide range of influences, including Clutch, Galactic, and Zeppelin. Expect solid, in-your-face rock tracks to make Black Sabbath proud, with an aggressive progressive edge channeling The Refused. The band hashes groovy psychedelic jams reminiscent of the Black Angels, slides into Black Keys blues, and then dubs like King Tubby. Brace yourself for a tumultuous reign of tones.

Stone the King’s dynasty started among friends, a combination of sonic individualism and an unhealthy interest in Stonehenge. Wilder delivers poetic lyrics as only an accomplished actress could, weaving literary references into her prose for those who might get them. Haskell, a devotee of hard rock and dirty riffs from down-South, is a New York native who found his soul in New Orleans. Kaskela, a talented bassist who mixes Claypool shreds with Pastorious grooves, has a lifetime’s worth of classical music awards that his family would love to show you. St. Julien, a lively drummer who channels funky beats even as he pounds punk and runs the petals in heavy metal thunder, is also a jazz saxophonist.

We cordially invite you to join us for a musical cacophony of epic proportions, where everyone’s equal and we can all Stone the King.
