La Petite Celine - (Set time: 7:00 PM)
La Petite Celine
La Petite Celine is the indie/folk project of Franco-American singer-songwriter Celine du Tertre, a young solo-artist living in Brooklyn and Pace University grad with a BFA in Acting. As a multilingual native New Yorker and a multi-instrumentalist, Celine allows her interest in ethnicity and her organic process in investigating new instrumental voices to inspire compositions to be culturally diverse in influence, and yet, uniquely her own. This intuitive melting pot of sound is demonstrated in La Petite Celine’s EP album, "Young Soldier," where various cultural styles of music are used, such as French, African, Celtic, Latin, etc, as well as influence from such artists as The Gypsy Kings, Sia, The Fray, Feist, The Temper Trap, Pauline Croze, Yann Tiersen, and Regina Spektor. But each song keeps the integrity of the La Petite Celine sound with progressions of textural and lyrical build, unique harmonies, and a signature vocal character.

I have been writing new music both instrumental and with me on the vocals, tunes such as Paradise and Broken Ankle(with Brian), both can be heard on You Tube, we are planning a new CD to be recorded over the winter. The band is planning a Southwest Tour in mid March to Austin, Texas and other southern cities.
Rachel Lynn - (Set time: 10:00 PM)
Rachel Lynn
Rachel Lynn is a classically trained singer who adds passionate words to pop/soul original music. Her sound encompasses that of a passionate singer/songwriter who was raised on 90's pop and Motown.

Losing her mother at a young age taught Rachel that life is too short to waste. Her mother was a classically trained flutist and music teacher before returning to school to devote her life to helping others as a social worker. She understood Rachel’s young love for music and encouraged her daughter to pursue that dream, even landing Rachel her first audition with the Peabody Children’s Choir. Rachel began to study voice privately and went on to student-conduct several choral singing ensembles.

Having studied music at The University of Maryland, College Park, Rachel has performed throughout the Maryland/Virginia/Washington, D.C. region as a solo artist and has also been fortunate enough to perform with ensemble groups at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center in College Park, Maryland. Rachel has taught vocal technique both privately and in a workshop setting, truly allowing her love for the craft of singing to shine through in every aspect of her career.

Since relocating to NYC, Rachel has performed at numerous venues including Pianos, Sullivan Hall, The Living Room, Arlene's Grocery, Ella Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall and The Trash Bar. She was recently named one of New Music Seminar's Top 100 Artists on the Verge for 2014 and was featured in publications such as The Philadelphia Examiner, Songwriter Monthly, and Venture Magazine following the release of her acoustic EP in August of 2012.

Rachel is currently recording a full band EP to be released in 2014.
