Before anyone asks: Why “for now?” (and a bit of backstory)
I write and sing melodic metal, but I don’t have a band right now, so acoustic performances will have to do.
(How come?)
I have been singing all my life, but I had no semblance of vocal training until I was nineteen. During my first two years of college I took voice lessons and had a metal band, until my at-the-time voice teacher said she could tell my vocal cords were damaged just by listening to me speak. I saw an ENT and was diagnosed with vocal polyps, caused by years of singing and screaming incorrectly. My band broke up, and I decided to put my music on hold.
My vocal cords healed in the latter part of 2008, but I was kicked out of my university’s voice department because of politics. I began searching for a new voice teacher outside of school, and I finally found someone the following summer. I have been taking lessons with her ever since. She taught me how to sing correctly, with faster and healthier results than I’d seen with any other voice teacher before. I am learning to scream properly as well, and once I have that down I will put a metal band together. And take the world by storm.
1/2 Naked - (Set time: 9:00 PM)
1/2 Naked
This will be a stripped down acoustic duo playing the band's material "unplugged". It's 1/2 the members of the band, hence the moniker 1/2 Naked.

Naked's debut album ”This One Goes To Eleven” was released in 2004 and featured the single ”Sister”. The video for the track was directed by Stefan Lindfors (HIM, ”Funeral of Hearts”). The second NAKED album ”Let’s Get Naked… And Start A Revolution” (2006), produced by Englishman Dan Weeks, featured two Top 5 singles, ”High On Blue Love” and ”Revolution”. The video to the latter was shot in London with the singer The Muff cavorting in Camden Town, wearing a strait jacket. For their third album ”Superstate” (2007), NAKED joined forces with yet another English producer Nick Triani. With the new single and video ”No One’s Perfect”, NAKED hit the road again delivering a cavalcade of seriously ass kicking, sweat dripping, shirt ripping and confetti bursting rock shows. These ear-deafening events took NAKED all over Europe, Scandinavia and Russia and included support gigs with esteemed international acts such as The 69 Eyes and The Killers. The ”Superstate” tour ended in May 2009 with a sold out rock spectacle at the Liquid Room in Tokyo, Japan.

After all that live extravaganza, NAKED found the time to complete their self-produced album ”Double Down”. The 13-track robust monster of a record is simply a 48-minute experience that will most definitely change your life.

Seen some things, done some things, been around. Didn't have much to say about any of it...till now. Gonna' be a little loud. ..We're gonna make a little noise, rattle some glasses, pound some tables, tip some chairs. Keep it sneaky simple. Plant a few seeds, flick a few bugs. Make you look up once or twice. ...That's the plan.
Red Stefan - (Set time: 11:00 PM)
